Okay, so I recently got into this whole watch thing. After a lot of looking around, and I mean A LOT, I decided I wanted to try and find a Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Control Date, but not just any, I wanted to see if I could snag one online. It was tough, I won’t lie. There were so many listings, and a lot of them looked pretty similar. It’s not like I could just walk into a store and try it on. A few days later, the package arrived. I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was. It looked… well, it looked real! It felt heavy in my hand, the details were perfect, and the movement, as far as I could tell, looked like the real deal.
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I’m pretty happy with it. It keeps time perfectly, it looks great, and I feel good wearing it. Did I get lucky? Maybe. Did I do my homework? Definitely. Would I do it again? I don’t know, maybe. It’s a bit of a risk, buying a watch like this online, but in this case, it paid off. I think I did a pretty good job at spotting a good Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Control Date online, if I do say so myself.
