This here Reverso watch, it’s somethin’ else. They say it flips. Yeah, you heard me right. Flips! Like a pancake, only it’s a watch. Keeps the glass safe, they say. Back in the day, rich folks wore ’em playin’ polo, fancy horse game. So this watch, it gotta be tough, right? They made the face so it won’t break easy. Good for clumsy folks like me, ha!
This one, the Tribute Monoface, they say it’s new. Smaller, too. Not too big, not too small. Just right, like Goldilocks’ porridge! It’s 40.1mm long, 24.4mm wide, and 7.56mm thick. Numbers, numbers, numbers… All I know is it fits nice on the wrist. They told me it was 40.1 by 24.4. I don’t know what that means. It looks good though.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: That’s Swiss, I Think
Jaeger-LeCoultre, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? They say it’s Swiss. Swiss watches, they’re the best, everyone knows that. This company, been around since, well, a long time. 1833, they say. Older than my grandpa, that’s for sure! They make clocks, too. Big ones, I bet.
Inside this here Reverso Tribute, there’s a whole bunch of tiny parts. They call it the “movement.” Like a little engine, tick-tock, tick-tock. This one, the 846 calibre. No clue what that means, but it sounds important. It can go for 38 hours without stoppin’. And it’s okay if you get it a little wet, like when you’re washin’ dishes. But don’t go swimmin’ with it, now!
They say it’s “water resistant” to 30 meters. I don’t know how deep that is. I don’t swim anyway. But it sounds like you don’t have to worry if you get caught in the rain.
This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, it’s pretty and it works good. That’s what they mean by “form and function.” Sounds like school words to me. But I guess it means it ain’t just a pretty face. It does what it’s supposed to, and it does it well.
