This Rolex, It’s a Good One

I seen some folks wearing these fancy watches. They always be checking the time. This Rolex Submariner, it’s the one they all want, I reckon. Heard someone say it’s the most “iconic” watch. Don’t know what that big word means, but it sounds good.
This here watch, it’s got that spinny thing on top, the “bezel” they call it. It’s gold, that yellow gold, and it’s got a blue part in it. Shiny, I tell ya. And the band, it’s gold and silver, two colors again. They call that part the “bracelet.” Got a fancy name for everything, these folks.
It’s got a little thingy to close it, the “clasp.” They say it’s a “Flip Lock extendable Deployment Clasp.” Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Just means it closes up good and won’t fall off your wrist, I suppose. These Rolex Two-tone watches, they are popular.
They even give ya a box with it. A real nice box. Keeps it safe, I guess. And some papers, too. “Original papers,” they call ’em. Must be important, having all these papers.
Why These Rolex Watches Cost So Much?
I heard these Rolex Submariner watches, they cost a lot of money. More than I make in a year, I bet. But they say it’s worth it. They say it’s ’cause of the fancy stuff they use to make ’em. The gold and all that. And they make ’em real good, too. Test ’em and all that. They say it’s a “luxury” watch. Whatever that means.
Someone told me this Rolex, it’s not too big, not too small. Just right, they said. They told me some numbers, 40.0 mm and 13.0 mm. Said it’s the size of the watch. Don’t know what them numbers mean, but it sounds about right for a watch. Not too clunky, ya know?
I heard people talkin’, sayin’ this here Rolex Submariner Date, that’s what they call it, it is a good one. There was this number, 116613, and 1988, don’t know what that’s about, it’s a special thing. This kind of high imitation Rolex is good.
And this other one, they called it “Rolex Submariner Date Bluesy 116613LB.” A real long name for a watch, ain’t it? They say this one, it’s real good too. Got that “Two Tone Gold Blue Oyster Steel.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d eat, don’t it? But it’s just the watch, I guess.
They say it’s “Used,” but still good. Like new, almost. And it’s got that box and papers, too. “Original box” and “Original papers.” This Rolex Two-tone is good.
Folks Sure Love These Rolex Watches
I see folks wearing these Rolex Submariner watches all the time. They must really like ’em. They’re always showing ’em off, too. Must be proud to have one, I reckon.
This one, this blue and gold one, it’s real popular, I think. I always see that one. They must make a lot of ’em. Or maybe it’s just that everyone wants that one. It is a real purty watch, I gotta say. Even for an old gal like me, I can see why they like it.
