Alright, folks, let me tell you about this little project I got myself into. I saw this PRADA Re-Edition 1995 Chaine Re-Nylon Mini-Bag online, and I thought, “Hey, that’s a pretty neat bag. I bet I could make something like that.” So, I decided to give it a shot. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen, right?
First, I needed to get my hands on some materials. I didn’t want to use real leather, because that stuff’s expensive and I’m not exactly a pro at this. So, I went with some Re-Nylon fabric I found online. It looked pretty similar to what Prada uses, and it was way cheaper. Plus, it’s supposed to be eco-friendly, so that’s a bonus.
Then came the fun part – figuring out how to put this thing together. I looked at a bunch of pictures of the real bag and tried to copy the design. I started by cutting out the fabric pieces. I’m no expert tailor, so there was a lot of trial and error. I messed up a few times, but eventually, I got the hang of it. I had to unpick some seams and redo them, but hey, that’s part of the learning process, isn’t it?

After the zipper, I attached the chain strap. I bought a cheap chain online, nothing fancy. I just had to sew it onto the bag, which was pretty straightforward. It wasn’t too heavy, and it looked pretty good, if I do say so myself.
The Logo
The last thing was the logo. I tried to make it look like the Prada logo, but of course, it wasn’t perfect. I just cut out some black fabric in the shape of the letters and glued it on. From a distance, it looked alright, but up close, you could tell it wasn’t the real deal. But who cares? It’s my bag, and I made it myself.
