You know what? This old lady, I don’t know much about fancy things. But my grandson, he’s always talking about these Rolex watches. Says they’re the best. He especially likes that Rolex Submariner. Sounds like a sandwich to me, but he says it’s a fancy watch. Says it’s for diving and such. I told him, “Boy, you ain’t never even been in the ocean!”
He keeps going on about how much these Rolex Submariner watches cost. An arm and a leg, he says. Well, I told him, “You keep your arms and legs! You need those!” But then he showed me these pictures online. Shiny things, they are. And he starts talking about how they’re made real good, with some kinda fancy metal. It is a Original order. I told him “well, sonny, that’s what happens when you buy things that are almost like the real thing. I told him, “Gold? On a watch? That’s just silly!” But he says some folks like that. I guess some folks like to show off. If he wants a Original order, he needs to pay lots of money. But I guess if it makes him happy, then it’s alright. He works hard, my grandson. He deserves something nice.
